There's a Coronation Street spoiler in today's Sun that says when Tracy Barlow returns to Corrie, she's going to frame Gail McIntyre for mudering Joe - in exchange for freedom. Apparantly, when Gail is held on remand over the death of Joe, Tracy is offered an early release deal in exchange for extracting a confession. So Gail finds herself sharing a cell with Tracy (yikes!) and she sets about manipulating Gail into opening up - before twisting her words in a bid to send her down.
Tracy reappears on screen in May, begging her jail governor to allow her to attend the funeral of grandma Blanche. But after getting out for the day, she gets a taste for freedom. Meanwhile, Gail is on remand in the same prison suspected of killing Joe.

This looks interessting! Although I doubt whether Gail would be convicted just on Tracy's say so, she would have to be wearing some kind of wire, plus I doubt whether Helen Worth will be written out, so will have to wait and see!!
I don't really want Tracy to come back. Hope she won't be around for very long.
Let's hope they don't follow up the Sophie and Sean story with a similar Tracy and Gail one!
Sounds very interesting!!
I doubt that prisoners on remand would be in the same part of the prison as convicted prisoners let alone sharing the same cell but perhaps we should overlook that lol
Wow... the Weatherfield police force has to be the worst on the planet. How many times have the locked up the wrong person?
it just wouldnt happen a murdere wouldnt get released jsut like that for setting up someon else
ahh i spose this is soapland
Ugh, I'm not looking forward to Tracy being back, I find her character to be way over the top. Carla's the right level of b*tch for the street.
Me three.
Tracy back?
WHY?
The producers said that they had done alot of research and had found a credible way of getting Tracey out of prison, this doesnt sound crdeible to me
So the police will let a murderer out if she helps to frame another inmate? Sounds too underhand for real life.
